He Toa Takitini Whare Kōrero

The Whare Kōrero was held from June 5-8, 2013 at Te Aute College and EIT Hawke's Bay. This was the first opportunity for Heretaunga-Tamatea claimants to speak directly to the Crown of the hurt and injustice inflicted on our whānau and hapū as a result of breaches of the Treaty of Waitangi.

 

The Crown was represented by the former Governor General, the Rt Hon Sir Anand Satyanand and Chief Crown Negotiator, Pat Snedden.
